For my capstone project, I'm planning on making a fall promo for a major television network.  What I want to do for it is to give a high-energy jingle and eye-popping visuals that'll grab the audience's attention right away and get them interested in new shows, old ones, and returning ones.  I got the idea to do one from watching some old fall promos of the Big Three television networks on Youtube and how they got my attention.  Making a fall promo like those would not only give today's youth something exciting to see during the commercial breaks, but also invoke a kind of nostalgia feel for the older generations.

Since this is going to be a short promo commercial, I want to start with showing a clip from one of the old shows set to a short song, followed by clips from others shows shown on the network throughout the years, ending it with the most popular show right now.  My milestones for this project are to plan it out carefully, condense the footage down into what I need for the promo, create the effects that match the quality that I'm looking for and have it meet the expectations of others.
